The Australian Business Name project was a government initiative that required the architecture development to integrate about thirteen different federal and state government agencies together.

 

Canonical Solutions was required to facilitate various cross government agency design sessions and ensure the outcomes were modelled into a complete business solution within the architecture framework developed.

 

Canonical Solutions was required to assemble costs for the proposed solution options. To enable this to occur Canonical Solutions developed a “whole of government” costing model that was utilised by all government agencies. This costing model provided the architecture group with the ability to assure there was no duplication in effort and that each agency was costing to the same business solution options and the costings could be aggregated and disaggregated as required.  

 

Canonical Solutions’s work was assured by IBM to be a sensible and valid solution design.
